2008/9 Cascade Team Camp Review

Camp dates were July 16-20, 2008 and July 15-19, 2009, held at the beautiful campus of McCloud High School at the foot of 14,000 foot Mt. Shasta in Northern California.

The 2008 Camp was a little smokey due to the numerious fires in the Valley. Although only one day was really smokey the rest were sunny and warm! We had many activities each day, including group technique time, group practice, a 'lunch competition', more practice time, and skill and linemen competitions.

The 2009 Camp has been clear, cool and breath taking! We have 11 teams, 299 athletes and 55 coaches. The tradition continues with many of the activities from last year.

This group of photos is just a small look at the activities held over the five days. This was our first ever camp and although we had a few glitches, each team had plenty of time to learn and play football! You will also see some of the first pictures from 2009!

We have improved our plans for the 2009 Camp and are looking forward to more teams and players.
